Despite the economic challenges during the pandemic, many people still opted to spruce up their homes and get on with do-it-yourself home improvements. If you are one of those people who “improved” their homes, chances are, you have items in good condition that you need to discard simply because they do not fit into your new abode. If this is the case for you, you might want to consider donating them to charity organizations in Nevada, and they will surely be put to good use by our beneficiaries.
If you got yourself a new kitchenware, you can generally donate your old items like crockpots, Tupperware, glasses, and cups. And with the cold season coming, other things at home that you don’t use anymore will surely be appreciated.
Our organization also accepts clothing donations like sweaters, long and short-sleeved shirts, jackets and coats, hats, sleepwear, and socks. Linens such as blankets, comforters, towels, and tablecloths are especially needed in shelters. These donations can surely help keep marginalized people warm.
Of course, monetary donations and sponsorships are always welcome to help fund different non-profit organizations’ programs to help the poor and the disenfranchised.
But if you do not have the means to donate at the moment, there are other ways that you can help! We also welcome volunteers in Kentucky to help us with our programs by sharing with us your skills and expertise.
